Flutist Willie Santiago and Cellist Emma Johnson have joined creative forces to begin the Flute/Cello Project, a creative project dedicated to performing under-represented works and expanding the canon of literature written for the flute and cello. The two are in midst of a long term commissioning project with composers around the United States. The first in their series of commissions is Amplify, a project dedicated to amplifying the contributions of composers who have been left out of the musical canon and narrative.
